Fishing/Angling
You will be spoilt for choice. The Rivers Tay, Isla and Ericht are famous for Salmon fishing. Trout anglers can choose between rivers, burns or one of the numerous lochs. Fishing permits can be arranged by the day or by the week.

Shooting
Driven grouse, pheasant, duck and pigeon shooting are available locally as well as stalking red deer . All can be arranged, for parties of 1-8.

Walking
From a gentle stroll in to the Den of Alyth (with wheelchair friendly paths) to a long distance trek along the Cateran Trail - Alyth is a perfect base for a range of picturesque walks. Graded form country strolls to mountain treks Glenisla, the Angus Glens and the southern Grampian Mountains offer spectacular scenery for all levels of fitness.
